Hello World….I’m Patrick….
Who am I? Well, I’d begin by telling you that I’m… an avid traveler. Aspiring gourmet chef. Undiscovered author. Storyteller. Wine and beer connoisseur. Restaurant and hotel critic. I wake up every morning with a song in my mind. I’ve seen the Great Pyramids in Egypt, eaten crepes under the Eiffel Tower, rode a gondola on the canals of Venice, got married on a beach, and snorkeled with sea turtles. I share my life with the best wife in the world and our two cats. We are continuing our adventures around the world, and enjoy some close to home in Buffalo, NY. If this sounds interesting, please join us! We want to share our adventures with you.

Travel is one thing I love to do. Now if I can just find the time.
There’s always time! Thanks 4 reading!

Hi Patrick and Kristen,
What a marvelous way to enhance your life. When I was much younger, Buffalo N.Y. was the highlight of travelers from throughout the USA and the World. I have pasted a site for you to visit; I hope you will enjoy it. Thanks again for sharing your adventures. Ray Barend http://www.youtube.com/embed/JNYue0Os55A?rel=0
My husband Clare & I thoroughly enjoyed your blog, very informative we are going Feb 7.2012 almost the same intinerary as yours, no “Sopa” glad about that. lol We are extending to Zanzibar for 4 days (coffee:)) and Nairobi for 5 days….Can hardly wait.. You mentioned charging your electronics; do we need converters, plug adapter? for the camera’s and lap top?and did you take preventive Malaria pills..?
We enjoy red wine and cold beer too:) again, Thank you
Wow. That sounds like a great trip! Most lodges had charging adapters for guests to borrow, but we brought two with us (converters and adaptors) and they really came in handy. We took Malarone to prevent malaria. Have a few Kilimanjaro Lagers for us! Let us know how your trip turns out.
Happy to see another post. Keep writing.
